Course Itinerary
The PADI Divemaster course includes a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Below is a sample itinerary:
Day 1: Knowledge review, dive centre orientation, paperwork, equipment setup
Day 2: Skills assessment (100m tired diver tow, 15-minute water tread, equipment exchange)
Day 3: Skills workshop in the pool, emergency assistance planning
Day 4: Search & recovery techniques, dive site management
Day 5: Leading dives
Day 6: Discover Scuba Diving workshop in confined and open water
Day 7: Skin diver skills and mapping project
Day 8: Deep dive and continuous education
Day 9: Presenting an Open Water course in pool and ocean settings
Days 10-14: Practical experience leading and guiding as a certified Divemaster
Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Divemaster course, candidates must meet the following requirements:
• 18 years
• PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
• Emergency First Response or equivalent first aid certification
• Medical clearance from a diving doctor
• Minimum of 40 logged dives to start; must have at least 60 logged dives to qualify for certification
